The PhytoVero deo refill variant . With it you can refill your deodorant five times. Because you know the benefits of our deodorant!

In stock

Our refill variant contains 250ml deodorant. The content is enough to fill the deodorant roll-on five times!

Our deodorant works naturally without aluminum salts! This product is palm oil free and vegan.
With the active ingredients zinc ricinoleate, zinc oxide and triethyl citrate in a water/oil mixture, we have found a combination that is very well tolerated by the skin due to its refatting properties, protects the skin flora with a skin-neutral pH value, leaves the sweat glands and pores open and still reliably protects against perspiration odor.

Without additional fragrances. Natural !

More information:

The human body has two different types of sweat glands. The first are the eccrine sweat glands, which primarily regulate the body's heat balance through the physical effect of evaporative cooling. Furthermore, sweat ensures the suppleness of the skin and its proper pH, because sweat is slightly acidic. Overall, the human body has an extraordinarily large number of eccrine sweat glands (two to four million) compared to other mammals. The number varies depending on the body region. Sweat glands are particularly numerous on the soles of the feet, palms and forehead. Their occurrence is densest on the soles of the feet with 600/cm² and sparsest on the thigh with about 100/cm².

The second type of sweat glands are the apocrine sweat glands, which are also called scent glands. They only occur in certain skin areas (axilla, nipple, genital and perianal areas) and secretion production is particularly activated by emotional stimuli (e.g. fear, excitement, anger). The "apocrine sweat glands" or scent glands release other substances in addition to pheromone-like scents, which are only converted into various odorants together with the skin sebum under the action of skin bacteria. Unlike the so-called "eccrine sweat glands", scent glands are each attached to a hair follicle and restricted to specific regions of the body. Their secretion and that of the sebaceous glands as well as the respective bacterial flora of a skin region are responsible for the (natural) body odor. Therefore, scent glands often play a not insignificant role in social and sexual behavior.

Sweat alone would be almost odorless, the actual cause of sweat odor are decomposition products of bacteria living on the skin, which decompose the sweat.

Both sweat gland forms are innervated by the sympathetic nervous system, but not with the same neurotransmitter. The eccrine sweat glands have cholinergic and the apocrine adrenergic receptors.

We at PhytoVero do not want to interfere or influence the function of the sweat glands. We also do not use antibacterial substances that negatively affect the skin flora, nor do we change the pH of the skin using sodium bicarbonate or sodium hydroxide.

The effect of our deodorants is based on the effect that the fragrances secreted by the apocrine glands are molecularly enclosed (coated) and therefore cannot be broken down by the natural skin bacteria.

Sweating is healthy and natural! In our opinion, it is not useful to inhibit this process by means of antiperspirants such as aluminum hydrochloride, aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrate, aluminum chloride and propantheline bromide.

Ingredients

Ingredients (INCI):
Aqua, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Pentylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Triethyl Citrate, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Zinc Ricinoleate, Glycerin, Panthenol, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Tocopherol, Zinc Oxide, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum.

A few words about zinc ricinoelate:
The zinc salt of natural ricinoleic acid (Zinc Ricinoleate) serves as a deodorizing ingredient in deodorants as an odor-blocker. It is the zinc soap of ricinoleic acid, except that zinc, as a bivalent cation, can bind just two fatty acids. Therefore, this substance is almost insoluble in water, does not penetrate the skin, does not inhibit natural perspiration, but the malodorous odorous substances produced during bacterial decomposition of sweat are coated, bound and therefore no longer perceived as unpleasant.
